Code of Conduct

Software Carpentry is dedicated to providing a harassment-free learning experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or choice of text editor. Following the example of the Python Software Foundation, PyCon Canada, and other community members, we have therefore decided to adopt a code of conduct to make it clear what kinds of language and behavior are and are not acceptable at our events. If you'd like to know more, we couldn't possibly write anything better than this blog post by the Python Software Foundation's Jesse Noller.
